CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator (Haas)

We have an opportunity for an experienced turner/miller (4+5 Axis), to work in our machine shop on a wide variety of work, from one-off prototypes through to production.  Experience of setting and operating Haas lathes and milling machines is essential as is a good knowledge of MasterCam and CNC programming software generally.

Working under your own initiative, you may sometimes be required to manufacture with short lead times and in small batch quantities to support immediate operational requirements.  Previous experience of castings and a sound knowledge of tooling techniques would be a distinct advantage, and CAD experience (particularly Solidworks) would be desirable.

Normal hours of work are Monday-Friday 07:00-16:30, although on occasions there may be opportunities to work outside these hours.

This is a permanent position, based at our Dunstable premises, offering an immediate start.
